With a new record, a run of club and festival dates, and support slots with punk legends, the working-class rockers are hitting their stride — and the open road.
There’s something timeless about a band on the verge — and for The Jack Knives, 2025 might just be their moment. Gritty, guitar-driven, and unflinchingly honest, the Orange County punk rock outfit is kicking off the year with their most ambitious run to date: the Into the Night US Tour 2025, a coast-to-coast trek supporting their newly released full-length album of the same name.
Blending punk urgency with blue-collar storytelling, Into the Night is a natural extension of the band’s raw and heartfelt ethos. Produced by Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls and recorded at the legendary Little Eden studio in Asbury Park, NJ, the record captures the spirit of escape, resilience, and late-night drives that inspired both its title and its accompanying tour.
A Punk Rock Pilgrimage
The tour begins May 22 in Mesa, Arizona, where The Jack Knives join longtime heroes The Bouncing Souls, H2O, and The Adolescents for a blistering run of western dates. The lineup is nothing short of a punk dream team, and it finds The Jack Knives holding their own night after night through cities like Denver, Seattle, and Salt Lake City. They'll also make a stop at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas for the 25th anniversary of the legendary festival — including a club show alongside Hot Water Music that’s already generating serious buzz.
“It’s wild to be on the road with bands we grew up listening to,” says frontman Si Short. “This tour feels like a full-circle moment, but it also feels like we’re just getting started.”
From Boardwalk to Boardwalk
While much of the tour is built around support slots and festival appearances, The Jack Knives are carving out time for a few special headline shows — including two record release parties on either side of the country.
On July 26, they’ll play the iconic Wayfarer in Costa Mesa, CA. And on July 19, they’ll hit Asbury Park, NJ, for “The Jack Knives and Friends” — a celebratory East Coast throwdown that nods to the band’s deep connection with the local scene and their producer’s musical roots.
Both shows promise to be intimate, sweat-drenched affairs — the kind of nights where the band is just a few feet away, and every lyric feels personal.
New Cities, New Faces
This tour will also take The Jack Knives into uncharted territory. For the first time, the band will headline shows in Chicago (Aug 7) and Philadelphia (Aug 8), two cities with rich punk traditions and passionate fanbases.
“We’ve had people reaching out for years from those places,” says drummer Drew Baker. “It’s about time we made the trip.”
These shows are expected to be smaller club gigs — the kind where new fans are made for life.

The Grand Finale
The tour wraps on a high note at the Hoochenanny Whiskey and Music Festival in Rochester, NY on August 9, where The Jack Knives will share the stage with none other than Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
It’s a fitting finale to a tour that blends underground grit with wide-open ambition. For The Jack Knives, Into the Night isn’t just an album title — it’s a mission statement.
“We’re chasing something bigger than just the next gig,” says bassist Bryan Lee. “We want to build something that lasts — and we want to earn it.”
